We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Civil Engineer with 8+ years' diverse experience in civil design to join our team in Auckland.

Current projects include a wide variety of technical work across several sectors, including all aspects of landfill design and operation, earthworks engineering, contract management, 3-waters infrastructure design, sustainable urban stormwater design, coastal infrastructure, roads and rail.

You can look forward to working on a wide range of exciting projects that involve all aspects of civil design. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects in respect to quality, programme and budgets. This will include interfacing and coordinating outcomes from related disciplines such as geology, hydrogeology, geotechnical engineering and contaminated land together with assisting client relationship building.

  • Relevant BE(hons) or MEng qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Chartered Civil Engineer (CPEng or overseas equivalent)
  • 8+ years' diverse experience in civil design, with an emphasis on civil structures
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Emphasis on simple robust solutions to complex issues
  • Project management
  • Client relationship management
  • Experience in a consulting environment at a senior level
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Proven ability to deliver a quality product on time
  • Strong delegation skills with the ability to coach and support junior engineers.
